Moab Support Forum > Moab Juniper Framed against glass

I have been using Moab Juniper paper and framing it pressed right up against nonglare conservation glass. It looks clean and simple but I wondered if this paper would be prone to "sticking to the glass" due to a high humidity environment like a glossy paper might or if it is a safe archival way to frame.

Hi Marc,

You never want your artwork to touch the glass as any change in environment could negatively affect the print - whether it be condensation or the natural outgassing of the inks. We always recommend using a museum quality matboard, such as Rising ( to separate the artwork from the glass. Framing with a matboard also makes the overall presentation much more formal.
